The Official Higantes Festival Theme Song
Originally, “Lipad, BangkaGandang Angono” is an homage to the sights and sounds of the Art Capital of the Philippines and Home of the Higantes Festival. It tells a story of the beauty of its culture and traditions spanning from The Higantes Festival to Angono’s Catholic Faith. Its music, heavily influenced by the melodies of Maestro Lucio San Pedro’s works, that you can hear scattered all throughout the song, but mainly the beginning. Angono, Rizal is rich in talents, not only in music, but also in Visual Arts. Ateliers and works of Angono’s Finest Artists can be seen in this video, proving its worthiness of the title, “The Art Capital of the Philippines”, Haven and Cradle for Artists.
